Our Vision
The Rushmoor Wards Cup is a free, inclusive tournament that brings together all 13 wards of Rushmoor through sport, wellbeing, and community spirit.
Our goal is to create a fun, accessible annual event where residents of all ages and backgrounds can compete, volunteer, and celebrate together — building pride, connection, and a lasting local tradition.
Impact
The Rushmoor Wards Cup isn’t just a tournament, it’s a platform for community change.
By bringing together people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities from across the 13 wards of Rushmoor, we are strengthening community ties through shared experiences and local pride. The tournament promotes both physical and mental wellbeing by encouraging active participation and social connection.
It creates inclusive opportunities for everyone to get involved, whether on the field, behind the scenes, or in the stands and inspires young people through volunteering, leadership, and teamwork. At a time of local transition, it also helps reinforce a shared sense of identity and belonging in Rushmoor, Farnborough, and Aldershot.
This project is powered entirely by volunteers and community spirit, showing what’s possible when we come together.

As someone who lives and serves in this incredible community, I’ve seen first-hand how powerful local pride, teamwork, and shared experiences can be.
The Rushmoor Wards Cup was born from a simple idea: to bring people together through sport, not just to compete, but to connect. We’re creating something that’s open to everyone, regardless of age, ability, or background. It’s about fun, friendship, and belonging.
This event isn’t just about competition. It’s about connection, inclusion and creating a new tradition that reflects the best of Rushmoor, Farnborough and Aldershot. Whether you're playing, cheering or volunteering, there's a place for you. I’m proud to be part of a team building something meaningful — and I hope you’ll be part of it too

I was delighted to be asked to take on a role in this exciting Community based Rushmoor Wards Cup Competition.
This will hopefully build and indeed foster a feel good factor, in other words a Community Spirit within and across the Communities that make up Rushmoor.
